Requirements & commitments

Community Partners commit to supporting the Meta-Layer Initiative's Desirable Properties (DP) Challenge by helping bring one or more DP drafts to the attention of their staff, members, and colleagues; providing constructive feedback on any aspects they believe can be improved; and optionally participating in working groups that help refine and advance the drafts through an open, transparent, and collaborative process.

Requirements & commitments

Core Partners make the same commitments as Community Partners (raise awareness and input on desirable properties) and additionally agree to lead or co-lead a working group focused on a specific Desirable Property. Core Partners help coordinate community input, steward draft development, and participate in determining which proposed changes achieve sufficient support to be advanced into subsequent draft versions. All deliberations, recommendations, and decision-making processes are conducted transparently and in public view whenever possible, following the Meta-Layer Initiative's commitment to openness, accountability, and rough consensus.
